Emperor Titan
08.11.25
At 270 meters tall, the Bastion variant of the Emperor class specialises in long range warfare. Outfitted with four Earthshaker cannons and a giant rotating gatling cannon, the Titan can engage targets at extreme range the very rear of the battlefield, almost 1000km with its largest weapon. The gatlong artillery cannon, while taking 30 mins to load all six shells, can unleash all it’s firepower in 30 seconds. When in the field for long durations the Titan is re-supplied via aircraft delivering ordnance via its two shoulder mounted landing pads.
Allthough the Princeps is the main operator of an Imperial Titan, they work in concert with a very specialised battlefield managment team, who from the Grand Strategiem control all units within the battlespace.
Titans of this class use starship grade Plasma Reactors. This allows them to generate huge amounts of power for both weapons and void shields making them impervious to most types of offensive weaponry.
Because the Bastion is suited for long range warfare it has an inherent weakness for close combat. To help mitigate this, on top of the normal crew, it carries a Batallion of guard (1000 troops) and 14 main battle tanks. Not only do they man the battlements of the Titan but can also sally forth from the lower leg garrisons to face any threats that have managed to get close.
Normally this would be a task for Martian Skitari troops but this very unique siege Titan is steeped in tradition and in particular has been manned by one of the Old Hundred, since the unification era, in this case by the Tanum Guard Regiment.
